Swimming on a Sunday

dear Richard,

You should come swimming with me sometime. The pool is all rennovated with lots of spurting water, fountains, seesaw, warm water and not too many people.
I went this morning with mummy and her friend Claudia and her daughter. I really enjoy trying to catch toes.
This is my new cap that I have been given by the optician. It is because I am getting adidas frames.

Chocolate Yoghurt

dear Glenda

The photos of me on your new website look lovely.
Did you know that I am on ritalin at school now? I have to have two tablets in the morning and one at lunch. I have managed to convince the school nurse that I can only eat my tablet with chocolate yoghurt.
No such luck at home. However mummy is now feeling guilty that the school is having to supply this and has stocked up on chocolate yoghurt for my lunch box. She is making a lot of savings on my lunch, as Ritalin is an appetite suppressant and I don't eat lunch anymore. Don't worry, I have my lunch at afternoon tea time,
see you soon,
Lots of love

Piano Accordian

dear Johnny,

Are there lots of lovely daffodils planted now for Amber? She will enjoy them in the Spring.
Remember this accordian from when you were my age? Richard passed it on to me.
I can now pull and push it in an out, play the keys and push the buttons. Briony spent two hours with me one Saturday teaching me to do all of these things at once.

न्यू ओर्थोटिक

dear Simon,

Today I was fitted for yet another new orthotic. Every time my foot grows by 1 cm, we have to go through this process of having a cast made, choosing a design and sending away for a new brace.

I also had a flu shot today along with daddy. Daddy is on a rigid work schedule down on the basement. He is only allowed out for meals and gym and a little time with me in the evening.

Questions

dear Kelly,
One question is, do I understand when I am threatened with a trip to my bedroom if I touch mummy's computer?

Another question is, do I understand when mummy gets mad that I have yanked yet another toilet roll and watched it spin round till all the paper is on the floor?

And a last question is, do I know that it is time to get out of the Wiggles cart at the supermarket, when Melody opens the door and says, 'time to go'? And when she has to pry my fingers off the steering wheel, is this astonishing to me or not?

Travelling

dear Daddy,

I hope you have arrived in Singapore safely. Give my niece and nephew a big hug from me. Did you finish your work in Uganda? I am looking forward to your coming home.

Did I tell you that I went swimming in the weekend with Mel and Hope? When Mel wasn't looking I dived over the wall into the deep pool. The lifeguard just thought I was playing (which I was) but Mel knew that the water would be over my head and she dived in after me even though she didn't have her togs on.
Mummy took this photo of the doors of our appartment in from when we lived in Paris.
love you

Red Rocks

dear Daddy,
I feel like the queen of the world. After you left for Uganda, Eleanor and Craig took Ike and me to the sea. I was all bundled up because of my ear infection. It is clearing up with the drops that Eleanor is putting in it.
I miss you.

Showering

dear Mummy,

Yesterday I just did not want to get
out of the shower. I managed to put the plug in and then fill the red bucket that you use to wash my hair, with water and pump away on the shampoo bottle.
I am ready to learn more signs. I think you should talk to school about it,
lots of love
