Skype

dear Mummy

I like seeing you inside the computer each day. I was trying to figure out how to climb in there but it seems too difficult. That is a very strange flower photo you sent me.

I have been having a good time at school. Mel came on Friday night and then Briony has been here this weekend. More and more clothes are turning up in parcels.

I will have a good week with both of them- so don't worry about me.

lots of love

Trade Me

dear Jamie,
This is the jacket that Mel and Matt bought me in France. And the denim pinafore is one that I bought on Trade Me. Trade Me is like E Bay.
I decided to buy most of my winter wardrobe this year on Trade Me and in the last week heaps and heaps of parcels have been arriving :) Now I have pinafores, skirts, jeans, jerseys, cardigan and tops; lots and lots of them.
You know I still have toys that you gave me in France. Sometimes I think I might have grown out of them, but that doesn't really happen.
lots of love and cuddles and kisses
Rosies
p.s. On MTV the other night there was this photo of a yummy guy on the corner of the screen and I manage to give him a kiss before the photo dissappeared :)

Music and Me

dear XinXin,

Where have you gone to? I am missing playing with you each night.
I have had a very busy weekend. Yesterday Briony and I went to Brooklyn Park and we found a valley with echo sounds and played recorders. It was cool.
Today lots of uncle and aunts and two of my sisters and two nieces came for brunch. It lasted all afternoon. There was omelette and pancakes and lots of yummy food. Mel came as well and at the end of the day we made fruit muffins.

Islamabad

dear A. Tehzeeb,

Look after mummy won't you. She is very lucky to be visiting you this week. Yesterday I got to wear my new shalwar kameez to school. It is one that you gave me two years ago and now I have grown enough.

I have to say sorry I didn't buy any timtams for Fatima. I didn't even know that mummy was leaving. She says she only got four hours notice and there just wasn't time. I think she should have taken me as well.

Penguins rock-climbing

dear U. Jon,

Did you have a fun weekend with all your friends on Waiheke?
I will be going up there in 3 weeks time for my holidays. I hope I can still go swimming.

This would be a cool way to exercise, rock climbing. Maybe we can do that when I see you next?

We had a mini-tornado here the other day. One moment it was fine and then there was a big big wind and sheets and sheets of rain. Some people had their rooves blown off their houses!

Would you like some Ice?

dear Fatima

When Summer and it gets tooo hot, you could just move some ice up from the bottom of the world. Daddy just came back and he said that there are tabular icebergs (like a table top) and there was one that he saw that was 10 km long and 50 metres high about the water with heaps more underneath.

From Eleanor

Dear Rosiepo,
Thank you for your message on the blog. I loved seeing you too, and bouncing on the tramp. We also liked all the cuddles you gave us. We felt very loved! Please thank your Mummy for the delicious dinner she cooked. I especially enjoyed the pudding because I have sweet tooth just like you :-) (Editors note: the apricot tarte tartin- that is just getting better and better, now on to the 5th edition)

I'm sorry to hear that your Mum's Mom in America has died. I hope she's not too sad and that you are giving her lots of hugs and kisses to make her feel better. Your hugs are the best.

Have a great week at school, and have fun trampolining every afternoon.
Lots of love,

Cherry Tomatoes

dear Grandma,

Thankyou for coming to visit me. I really like your teeth and how they can do tricks. My teeth won't come out of my mouth. But here they are eating one of the cherry tomatoes from the garden. It is quite a dark photo.

Today Daddy gets back from Antarctica and we are going to Nandos for dinner, but a different one than the one we went to last week when you were here.

lots of love

Another inch taller

dear Yasmine and Eleanor,

I just loved having you guys come to dinner and bouncing on the trampoline with me. Please come again. Just tell me what your favourite food is and I will get the cook to make it. She is getting better at the apricot tarte-tatin but now there are no apricots left in the supermarket.

I had my check-up for epilepsy med.s yesterday and I am going to slowly stop taking the tegretol as Tosh says that the topiramate (the horrible little granules) does the same thing and holds the big convulsions. It will be great if I only have to take three medicines rather than four.

At the hospital there was a little tikes police car which I got to ride (my knees nearly in my face) up and down the corridor for the 3/4 hour wait! I also was measured and am now 122.5 cm. I think that is 2.5 cm taller than just a little while ago. My head was measured as well and it is normal. :)

lots of love and cuddles,
